What happens at our AGM? We elect new organisers for the year, and talk about ideas people have for exciting new bike projects. Here’s our formal agenda:
1. Confirm minutes of 2009 AGM
2. Report presented by trustees
3. Financial report presented
4. Changes to constitution/organising structure proposed/adopted
5. Election of 2010 organisers
6. Discussion of priorities for this year
7. Pizza and drinks!
I’ve been thinking about how we could structure our organising for 2010, and I’d like to propose the following six roles:
- Advocacy
- Arc Delegate & Secretary
- Bike loans
- Finances & Shop (“Treasurer”)
- Events & Publicity
- Workshops & Tutorials (“President”)
Have a think about whether you might like to help organise the bike club this year. It’s fun, rewarding, and you get to meet heaps of keen cyclists at UNSW, while helping the club that helps you. If you have any questions, send us an email.
