Students of Sustainability is the largest student environment conference in Australia. In 2009, it’s going to be held on Wurundjeri Land at Monash University’s Clayton Campus, from July 6-10. The theme this year is “Doing It For Ourselves” and we’re looking forward to a jam-packed week as participants come from all around Australia and the world to share knowledge, experience and skills in the struggle for justice.

Since it’s not in Sydney, we’re going to ride our bikes to Melbourne! It will take about 12 days, so we’ll be leaving on or near Wednesday 24th June. We’ll be camping and cooking in camp-sites and rest areas along the way, and it should be a rollicking adventure. You’ll need to be reasonably fit, but there are still a few weeks to get some practice in.
